da mrbet: After a poor start to the season, Ayoze Perez and Salomon Rondon have both recently gone on to inspire Newcastle United to back-to-back Premier League wins.

The two number No.9s were able to get their names on the scoresheet in victories over Watford and Bournemouth, giving Rafael Benitez a much needed boost in a period where goals have been hard to come by.
This time next year, however, it could be someone else firing the Magpies to three points and up the Premier League table.
The Breakdown
The Evening Chronicle reports Dwight Gayle, who is currently on loan at West Brom from Newcastle, is open to staying at St. James’ Park once his temporary spell with the Baggies comes to an end.
Gayle moved to the Hawthorns back in the summer in a deal that saw Rondon head in the other direction and has been thriving in the Championship ever since.
He is one goal away from hitting double figures in the league for the season having netted nine times in 14 league appearances and has shown enough in those games to suggest he still has something to offer Newcastle.
The 28-year-old, of course, has had his struggles in the Premier League both at Newcastle under Benitez and Crystal Palace. But given how toothless the Magpies have looked at times this campaign, it is hard to argue Gayle could not have provided the team with anything up front.
His ability to run in behind makes him a constant threat, while on his day he can be a good finisher.
With that in mind, Benitez should consider giving the former Crystal Palace man another shot at leading the line, especially if a permanent deal for Rondon cannot be completed.
