da bet sport: For 99 per cent of English football fans, watching Arsenal this season has been a brilliant experience.
The Gunners have been truly woeful this term, and despite changing their manager they’re still absolutely rubbish – failing to win for nine games.
Freddie Ljungberg couldn’t have asked for two better games to start his career in management as the London club faced Norwich and Brighton in the Swede’s opening matches, but after taking just one point from those two games it seems as if Ljungberg may not be the man for the job.
Two poor results against bottom-half sides certainly won’t have helped Ljungberg’s chances of landing the Arsenal job on a permanent basis, and that could be good news for Leeds United due to his stance on Eddie Nketiah.

Ljungberg clearly isn’t too happy about the striker’s lack of game time at United as his recent press conference comments show.
“I need to be careful but I think Eddie is a great player,” Ljungberg said.
“If he goes on loan we want him to play football and get minutes otherwise they (players out on loan) can maybe be here. We want them to be on loan to get minutes.
“I feel a bit sorry for him because he is a great player and the future of this club. When he has had his chance he scores goals and that’s what he is about.”
With Marcelo Bielsa recently stating that he wants to keep Nketiah on for a second season seeing Ljungberg openly praise Nketiah while seemingly criticising the Whites’ usage of him isn’t what Leeds will have wanted to hear.

The Yorkshire club are reportedly worried about the prospect of Nketiah being recalled so these comments from the interim Arsenal manager won’t have settled any nerves as he’s stated he wants him to get minutes.
Bristol City are waiting in the wings, and Ljungberg may be tempted to send him to Ashton Gate in order to help him get more game time.
However, United can take solace in the fact that the Swede’s poor start may mean that he isn’t in charge at the Emirates for too much longer, and if the Gunners appoint a new man before January he may have a different view on the 20-year-old and his loan spell.
Meanwhile, it seems that two Leeds men may have turned a corner this past weekend.
