da pixbet： Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has conceded that he has a number of injury concerns ahead of tonight’s EFL Cup clash with Leicester City.
The Magpies picked up a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
The victory has come at a cost in terms of injuries, though, with Bruce revealing that six players are doubtful to take to the field against the Foxes.
Indeed, speaking to reporters at his press conference on Tuesday – as quoted by ChronicleLive – Bruce said that Jamaal Lascelles, Miguel Almiron, Allan Saint-Maximin, Christian Atsu, Joelinton and Fabian Schar are all doubtful.
It seems unlikely that the Magpies boss will risk any of them as the EFL Cup, in the grand scheme of things, is not too important for the club this season.

That said, a run in the cup competitions usually goes down well with the fans.
